A car parking system is a mechanical parking solution designed to increase parking capacity by moving and storing vehicles more efficiently within limited space. Compared with conventional ground parking, a mechanical car parking system can make better use of vertical height, underground space, or compact structural layouts, helping property owners reduce land use and improve parking organization. Depending on the project requirements, a car parking system can be designed as a semi-automatic parking system or a fully automatic car parking system, making it suitable for residential buildings, commercial complexes, office towers, hotels, hospitals, and public parking facilities.
Although both a car parking system and a car parking lift are used to create additional parking spaces, they are not exactly the same. A car parking lift usually refers to a simple parking device, like our model Hydro-Park 1127 and other Hydro-Park series products, where most operations require human involvement, including vehicle positioning, lifting, lowering, and driving in or out. By contrast, a car parking system is normally controlled by PLC and can complete lifting, sliding, transferring, or vehicle retrieval with less manual operation. This makes an automated car parking system more suitable for projects that require higher parking efficiency, better user convenience, and smarter parking management.
